Tesla Confirms October 17th Event
Tesla chief Elon Musk has just said in a tweet that the electric car company is going to conduct an event on October 17th. He didn’t mention any details of what the company will be talking about at this event, his tweet merely confirmed the date, but we are suspecting that the event will be about the Model 3 which is the company's first mass-market electric car.
The giant car manufacturer unveiled the Model 3 earlier this yearbut the initial unveiling was just the first part of it, the final part is most likely on the 17th of October.
It’s interesting to note that Musk mentionsin his tweet that this October 17th event was “unexpected by many,” and this leaves the door open to the possibility that the scheduled event might probably be about something entirely different from the Model 3.
The company is actually holding two events this month, the second on October 28th, as previously noted. On October 28th, the company will unveil a new residential solar roof which has an integrated Powerwall battery, this is the very first product that has been announced since the merging of Tesla and SolarCity was confirmed earlier this year.
