Motorola's Moto G spotted on Amazon UK, commands an enticing £160 ($256) price tag
A Motrola Amazon UK listing for the upcoming budget-friendly Moto G has appeared, touting a rather enticing price tag of £160, or about $256 for those of you stateside. Considering that the consumer electronics are often way pricier on the ol' island (Nexus 5 costs £300 ($480) vs $350 in the states), it may not be too far-fetched to assume that pricing will be different. Unfortunately, the page doesn't give up the looks of the device, and features no images whatsoever.
The current list of leaked specifications on the Moto G show a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8226 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, and a 4.5-inch 720p screen (329ppi) and also possibly, Android 4.4 KitKat. It's got 8GB of primary storage, and though the amount of RAM memory on board remains unknown, our guesstimate points around a 1GB stick. The rest of the presumed specs include a 5MP, 1.3Megapixel cameras on the rear and front, respectively, and a Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G HSPA+ connectivity.
The Moto G is expected to be announced on November 13th in São Paulo, Brazil, and you can join in over a livestream. Seeing as this Amazon listing points to a November 14th release, this will mean that many thousands Moto G units are already en route to your favorite shopping destination.
