Apple has announced Tuesday morning, that the new Apple iPhone 5sand Apple iPhone 5c will be available for purchase this coming Friday, September 20th. The most important piece of news here is for those who want to buy the full-featured Apple iPhone 5s. Since the company has not offered a pre-sale period for the device, we can only assume that buyers are sitting waiting to make the purchase.
As it turns out, Apple will start accepting orders for both the Apple iPhone 5s and Apple iPhone 5c on its site, starting Friday morning at 3:01am EDT. Both will be in the Apple Store at 8am local time the same day. Apple also confirmed that the 16GB Apple iPhone 5s will be priced at $199.99 with a signed two-year pact. The 32GB and 64GB models are priced at $299.99 and $399.99 respectively. The 16GB Apple iPhone 5c is $99.99 while the 32GB unit is $199.99. Both iPhone 5c prices reflect a signed two-year contract.
In China, iPhone 5s buyers were able to take reservations on the device, and receive a time when to pick up the phone in the store. After a few hours, the Gold and Silver variants sold out at various Apple Stores in Beijing and Hong Kong. In other words, expect the Silver and Gold models to go first.
