Sony Says it already has over 1 million preorders for PlayStation 4

Sony says that it has had more than 1 million preorders worldwide so far for its new PlayStation 4 console, the head of its SCE computer entertainment division said on Tuesday.

SCE Chief Executive Andrew House also added that the console will be available from November 15 in North America and will hit stores in Europe from November 29 to cover some 32 countries worldwide.

"The response we have received is nothing short of incredible," he said at a news conference on the sidelines of Gamescom, Europe's biggest video games fair.

since Microsoft will start to sell their latest console in November this year, we are looking at a stiff competition late tho year.
